Chennai is a bustling coastal metropolis in the South of India with a population of over 10 million. Chennai Photo Biennale is a city-wide festival of photography spanning multiple venues across the city including heritage buildings, public parks, beaches, train stations, reclaimed spaces and art galleries.

The 4th Edition will open across two phases starting 20 Dec 2024 and running until 16 Mar 2025.

Subjects ranging from nature, portraits, documentary, still life, to landscape photography are welcome. Submissions must be photographic or lens-based but can include combinations with other art forms such as performance, painting, sculpture, literature and text.
