Note on AI based Imagery: Thanks to all of you who reached out after our initial announcement accepting AI-generated images in the open call. We have taken these inputs and concerns into consideration. It is clear that the judging of AI generated images requires its own category, a defined set of rules and well-versed jury. As a result we have taken the decision to disallow AI aided or generated images. We hope to engage with this subject through our programs and discussions at CPB4.

Once the shortlist is announced, if there are any concerns of misconduct with regards to the shortlisted applicants, please immediately notify opencall@chennaiphotobiennale.com.
